A original flyer/ handbill from the Colston Hall, Bristol, England, dated Tuesday 23rd March 1965. This was the first Tamla-Motown UK tour and headlined by The Supremes, and supporyed by Martha & The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Earl Van Dyke Six, plus special guest Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames. The tour was a flop, in some Theatres only a handful of ticket were sold, in one case only 16 people attended a show. Georgie Fame was drafted in to help push the tour and sell tickets and give a 'name' to a almost unknown named tour, seems very strange now. The flyer measures about 135mm x 230mm [5 1/4" x 9"] in size, does have a couple of light creases and a hole, middle top, and the booking slip has been carefully cut off the bottom, and the bottom right hand corner has been torn off, [see photo] but the over all condition is very good for this very  rare 45+ year old flyer.
